Ethereum treasury firm SharpLink continues to expand its Ethereum treasury, adding tens of thousands of ETH over the past week. The company’s aggressive accumulation strategy now brings its total reserves close to $3.6 billion.

SharpLink’s Ethereum Accumulation
Over the week ending August 24, SharpLink added 56,533 ETH at an average price of $4,462 per token. This push followed a net raise of $360.9 million through at-the-market (ATM) share sales. As a result, the company’s total Ethereum holdings rose to 797,704 ETH, valued at approximately $3.6 billion.
Since beginning its ETH accumulation on June 2, SharpLink has also earned 1,799 ETH in staking rewards, further increasing its treasury. With around $200 million in cash reserves still available, the company plans to continue expanding its treasury.
Funding Strategy and Market Impact
SharpLink funds its Ethereum purchases primarily through ATM share offerings. While this approach raises significant capital for ETH acquisitions, it also increases the number of shares in circulation, which can affect the stock price. Since its July peak at $37.38, SharpLink’s stock has nearly halved, trading around $19.83.
To support the stock and maintain alignment with its ETH holdings, SharpLink’s Board of Directors recently approved a $1.5 billion stock repurchase program. This initiative aims to buy back shares if the market price falls below the net asset value of its Ethereum reserves, ensuring the stock better reflects the company’s fundamentals.

Outlook for SharpLink’s Ethereum Treasury
SharpLink’s continued focus on building its Ethereum treasury highlights growing institutional confidence in ETH as a strategic corporate asset. By combining ongoing ETH purchases with staking rewards and a stock support program, the company positions itself as a significant player in the Ethereum market.
The strong accumulation strategy, backed by substantial cash reserves, suggests that SharpLink may continue to expand its holdings in the coming months, potentially influencing both its treasury value and market activity.
